Terms of Service

1. Service

Subak ("we," "our," "us") provides a structured-artifact validation service accessible through a CLI, an MCP server, and a desktop application. By accessing the service, you ("Customer," "you") agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Accounts and authentication

You authenticate via a device-code login flow that issues an API key bound to your license. You are responsible for keeping your API key secret; any action taken with a valid key is attributed to your license.

3. Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Usage beyond your tier's allowance is billed at the rate posted on the pricing page at the time of the charge. There is no free tier; pay-from-first-call applies.

You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Subak to store or transmit content that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights, or is intended to circumvent metered billing. We may suspend or terminate licenses that materially breach this section.

5. Content ownership

You retain all rights to the artifacts you author. We store and serve them on your behalf; we do not claim ownership and do not train models on your content.

6. Service level

We operate on a commercially reasonable best-effort basis during private beta. Paid tiers with a published SLA will replace this language before general availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
